Nancy, and her husband Dennis attend Hillside Church. Six years ago they lost their son, Phil, at age 26 to a heart failure. If you'd like to read his story click here. Since the death of their son, Nancy has read numerous books on grief, and has received a certificate completing the course, "Caring for People God's Way". She has also attended a share group much like the one that she will be overseeing at Hillside.  God has put it on her heart to encourage those who have suffered with grief by sharing this ministry with Hillside. God has given Nancy a tender heart for those grieving a loss, and she has felt God leading her to try to be a support to others.
